Too bad the audio quality isn't great, cuz this is a lot of fun!
BRAVO! Fellows! You remain the BEST!!!!!
RINGMASTERS always ring those chords!!! Ramus seems to have lots of passion! They are so great!
I wish they would have done more songs outside of the Beach Boys earlier stuff, it would have worked really well for them.
Nice BASS
Fabulous, fantastic, excellent,…
Always think one mic suits vocal groups rather than everyone having one Really like this though, so much better than, for example, the pentatonix version. Thanks for posting 😁
Nice rendition of 'The Arbor's' original arrangement!
About the song: Music- Jimmy McHugh Lyrics - Dorothy Fields Music Review- Blackbirds of 1928 FYI
As much as I hate to criticize a world renowned quartet, I have to say they sure did run through it. They really need to ring some of those awesome chords for longer.
Try to find some of their more recent recordings of this song and they have fixed most of the minor issues such as that. And I do see what you mean about the chords needing to be rung longer, another example would be "You can fly". But, either way, amazing performance! (In my opinion)
Also, even though it may not be great (Your opinion), there is a reason that they won! XD
The whole tag from 2:28 is amazing
1:05 give it to me emanuel
His 5 second solo line there has no right being that good lol. Literally the highlight of this recording for me
Jakob tripping and almost falling at 3:07 is priceless!! And so is Rasmus laughing at it hahahaha
Jakob was probably a little light-headed after that post
woooh 17 seconds prolonged voice of the lead singer. Wow!
That control never ceases to amaze me!
So fun!!!
unfortunate the sound quality on this is so bad
The way Martin pronounces "baby" is super endearing :D
BWAYBY
I am guessing that this is part of the material they developed for their jobs as cruise ship entertainers.
i`m loven it
Great quartet,,,,,,,the shitiest audio ever!
go direct to the board,,,,,,,,,serious?
I'm always puzzled why there is so much talking at the afterglows (not that this is one) when a world class group is performing up close and personal...sometimes you can hear doors slamming, bus carts rattling across the floor and people laughing...for me it would be really distracting to perform in such a din
They're on a cruise ship, this isn't a barbershop event.
Is that the guy that sang lead for Swedish Match?
Matt Huckaba probably lol
Only a year late, but yes indeed it is, Jakob Stenberg.
Very good backup.....but what happened to the lead?
Could be difficult to hear himself. Sometimes it can feel like the monitors are playing tricks on you.
this was good but the lead has next to no tonal or vowel control
I love this group no matter what they sing....they are so talented and diverse with their music ability...keep on singing Ringmasters!
Love this song and the Ringmasters. What a rude audience! Johan you must be Emanuel's brother?? Thanks for posting!
Dad, I think. Thanks Mr Roll!
Where can i get the sheet music for this??
Daniel Domingos Dave Harrington
I hate singing at functions like that with nobody paying attention and talking throughout your performance.. I hope the Ringmasters got paid BIG BUCKS for that gig!
Couldn't agree more!🤔
Best in the world!
These guys are most famous for being a champion barbershop quartet, but remember that they went to a specialist music school and have a very diverse range of musical skills and interest, and it's fantastic to see them doing some non 'a cappella' singing too.
+Stephen Le Page They visited our school today (their old scool). THEY WERE AMAZING.
+ovoszn KG hype haha
As someone who avidly sings barbershop, I think that people who call themselves "barbershoppers" and have never branched outside of that tend to be very limited in their abilities. The best barbershop singers I have met have all been actual trained musicians.
My boy Emmanuel going at it again
Holding that amazing high and large note... that was very beautiful... it makes me cry...
Rather amazing!
Martin is by far one of my top favorite basses
Thank you! I’ll add this one to the favorites of my Songs-with-Verses collection as past of my VERSE REVIVAL Project.
And now he is no longer a member of the Ringmasters.. 😢 But I understand it for the sake of his family.. Would have loved to hear and see him live once!
A little pitchy but cute......
Why are they singing with a band?
Why not?
Because barbershop is not everything, despite what old people in the practice tell you.
Samuelabra this isn’t barbershop tho, it’s just a medley they decide to sing
This is my favorite.
You are so annoying...
I've heard better versions, but I wasn't bitching I was just stating my opinion. BTW, it's 'no one'...."noone" isn't a word :~)
Yeah, that's the point. Just because they usually sing barbershop doesn't mean that EVERYTHING they sing is barbershop. But then again, maybe everyone doesn't realize that. Noone said that this particular performance is barbershopmusic. Stop bitching and start appreciate the music for what it is.
To me Barbershop is vocal only. Folk music with electric guitars and drums isn't folk music. I'm funny that way.
shut the fuck up and just listen to the song.
And where did you read "This is barbershop"? Yes, they are a barbershopquartet but that doesn't mean that they aren't allowed to sing anything else.
4chan brought me here...weird right?
Subwoofer Dildo definitely weird
Well I blame Martin's hair for that.
I accidentally flagged this video, so sorry! Can't figure out how to undo it. Love this group!!
I want Ringmasters to sing on the cruise I'm going on lol
Only gives credence to the greatness of the Beach Boys, even without the backup instruments. This is brutal, but I realize it's just for fun.
Thanks for the reply Jakob! Well, my friends and I tried too, and we came to a similar conclusion. After sleeping it off, of course! I just want to say I'm a HUGE fan of your quartet, and I hope to come and see you guys whenever you're in the UK!
Amazing! WHAT IS WRONG with all the people passing by but not stopping to listen?
Hi Jack. We tried your drinking game now. It was really difficult and we only suggest this drinking game to people who really can hold their liqour! Eyebrows are impossible. Regards The RM crew
